Hospitality 2.0

Hospitality 2.0 Intro

Before the Covid-19 Pandemic changed the DNA of the Hospitality Industry forever, it had already been going through a series of seismic changes on a multitude of levels. New developments in advanced technology, generational marketing shifts, health and wellness, alternative revenue streams, and sustainability practices were just a few of the areas that operators found themselves re-evaluating, and making long-term adaptation plans for. Along with these major changes also came the struggle of adjusting to this new reality, and figuring out how to effectively integrate these changes into an operation's "traditional" training and development program.

That's why we created "Hospitality 2.0."

Hospitality 2.0 has been designed as a training "toolbox" of sorts. Its components have been developed to either help augment existing training capabilities of hospitality operators, or assist in building new learning and development programs for businesses that may not currently have one in place.

Hospitality 2.0 doesn't just focus on the "what" of training and development, it also focuses on the "why" and  the "how"

We have five major tools in our "toolbox" to help your operation reach that next level of L&D:

1. ORIENTATION AND ON-BOARDING

Orientation and on-boarding have always been critical components for new hires in the hospitality industry. Introducing new team members to brand identity, company culture, and operational guidelines is crucial to any business's success. Today however, new hires demand that these tasks now be both mobile and interactive. We can help get you set up to provide both!

2. LEADERSHIP AND COACHING

Traditionally, the responsibilities of leadership and coaching duties have  been entrusted to either senior management or department level supervisors. However, some of the best leaders and coaches actually reside within an operation's general staff. Having the ability to both identify that talent and teach them how to train and coach others can be a valuable asset. We'll help you find, train, and develop that talent!

3. EMPLOYEE "HANDBOOK"

The days of the 3-ring binder employee manuals are long gone. However, many HR departments today are still relying on either two-dimensional (read only) .PDF manuals that are emailed to new employee for review, or they don't have an employee manual at all. Given the challenges of today's work environment, and the rapid changes that happen on an almost daily basis, employee manuals are more important today than ever. They now also need to be mobile, interactive, and easy to update. We've developed just such a manual.

5. HEALTH AND SAFETY

The fact that the Covid-19 pandemic has re-written the books on how to address health issues in the hospitality industry is a foregone conclusion. However, prior to the pandemic, we had already been  dealing with other serious issues in the hospitality industry concerning health and safety including mass shootings, food borne illnesses, theft, workplace harassment, and social media bullying. We now have mobile L&D components for your operation to address all of these issues.
